Jerry V. Wall

Jerry V. Wall, 78, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on March 10, 1937 in Monaca, a son of the late Jesse V. and Gertha A. (Lovell) Wall and he was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.  Jerry retired from the Army Corps of Engineers where he worked as a welder and a machinist.  He also served in the U.S. Army where he served two tours of duty in the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ellen (Cockroft) Wall; two daughters, Tammy Shipe; and Judy Darlene Murphy; a son, Jerry V. Wall, Jr.; a sister, Ruth McKenna;  five grandchildren, Debbie; Nina; Jeremy; Jennifer; and Lawrence, Jr.; and nine great grandchildren, Steven; Hayle; Bella; Jayde; Joseph; Kevin; Angel; Lia; and Damien.  He is also survived by a special niece, Donna  Lee Propst as well as numerous additional nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 10am until the time of funeral service at 2pm in the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com
