Nancy Shivler

Nancy (Ryckman) Shivler of Raccoon Twp., 81, passed away on Saturday August 20, 2016, peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born on December 19, 1934, a daughter of the late Ralph Martin and Margaret Ryckman. Nancy was a member of the Community Bible Church and taught 4th grade bible school there and also attended Pathway Church of Chippewa Twp. She worked as a dietitian for Allegheny Hospital until the birth of her children. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James O. “Jim” Shivler, Jr; a brother-in-law, Lewis Shivler; and a sister-in-law, Betty Straight.

Nancy is survived by a loving son, James O. “Jay” Shivler, III, Raccoon Twp., and a loving daughter, Deborah K. Shivler, Raccoon Twp. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm and Friday from 4pm until  the time of the service at 5pm in the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill Street Aliquippa, www.darrochfuneralhome.com
