Edward M. Eiler

Edward M. Eiler, 86, of Center Twp., formerly from Hopewell, passed away on May 30th 2016 at Beaver Elder Care.

Born December 20th 1929 in Wilkinsburg, PA, a son of the late Lorena (Kraus) Eiler Sabin and Edward Eiler Sr.. Edward retired from the LTV Mill in Aliquippa after 44 years. He also served in The Korean War with The U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth “Betty” D’Antonio Eiler on March 8th, 2010.

Edward is survived by two sons; Jeffrey and Amber Eiler of Hopewell; and Jonathan and Kelly Eiler of Hopewell; four grandchildren who he loved greatly; Chelsea, Breanna, Caitlyn, and Connor; a brother; Paul and Beatrice Eiler of Darlington; a sister-in-law; Eva Ondik; a brother-in-law; Sela Palmieri of Hopewell; and many nieces and nephews.

Edward played a large roll in his families’ life. He took them hunting, fishing, and as well on vacation.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8 pm in the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where a blessing service will be held Friday at 11 am.

Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery
