Virginia Simunick

Virginia Simunick, 96, of Raccoon Twp., passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018.

She was born on April 26, 1922 in Raccoon Twp., a daughter of the late Norman and Sara (Fegley) Winkle.  Virginia was a member of Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Simunick; a son, Frederick Simunick;  a sister, Hazel Greenwald; a brother, James Winkle; and a sister-in-law, June Winkle.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Debbie Simunick; her grandchildren, Matthew and Tina Simunick; and Beth Ann Simunick; and her great-grandchildren, Matthew; Josh; and Luke Efaw; and Gregory and Madelyn  Simunick.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc. 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 11am with her Pastor, Rev. Dr. Richard Herbster officiating.

Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
