Victoria Harris Obituary

Victoria (Vicky) Lynn Robinsky Harris resided in New Sewickley Twp. and was a resident at UPMC Cranberry Place, Cranberry Twp. PA for the past 3 years.  Vicky fought a tough battle with frontal temporal dementia  for the past 6 years.  She suffered from complications of aspiration pneumonia and died peacefully on Good Friday, April 10, 2020 with her daughter by her side and her battle became a victory as she is now in the arms of the angels and with the Lord.

Vicky was born on December 26, 1950 in Sewickley Valley Hospital.  She was the daughter of the late George Joseph Robinsky and daughter of Paula McBride.  Her entire life was devoted to her family and homemaking.  She would always try and help people in time of need, donate to various charities including St. Jude's Children's Hospital.  Vicky was a fabulous cook and baker and she loved having company over to her house.  She enjoyed loud music and singing along, traveling, holiday traditions with her family and shopping with her sisters and friends.  One of her hobbies included painting ceramics.  She had many life-long close friends including April Hanshaw of Georgia, Nancy Dreyer of Economy, Kathy Douds of Economy, and Jeannie Janicki (her bestest friend) of Economy.  Jeannie was Vicky’s hairdresser these last few years.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Lee Harris in 2017,  her granddaughter, Hayley Marie Hannan, and her step-son, Jerry Harris.

Surviving in addition to her mother are her loving daughter, Lissa Marie Hannan, loving son, Johnathan Eric Harris, Grandson Patrick James Hannan and granddaughter, Joelle Savannah.  She truly adored her grandchildren and made many memories with them.  Also surviving are her sisters, Georgeann (Larry) Musgrave of Baden, Melody Robinsky of Freedom, and a brother, Scott A. Robinsky of Freedom; her step-children, Penny (Larry) Dolenack; Darleen Nagel; and Cheri Evens.  She also had many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Vicky was Catholic by faith and attended St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Parish in Baden, PA.        The family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Cranberry Place who became like family.  A special thank you to Catholic/Pinnacle Hospice, especially Leslie and Kim.

A celebration of Vicky’s life will be scheduled at a later date.
