Thomas Peter Lewkowicz, 76, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024.
He was born on February 27, 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA a son of the late Peter and Nellie (Wegrzynek) Lewkowicz. He was a member of Mary, Queen of Saints Parish-Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Thomas retired from Holy Family Institute. He proudly served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War and he was a member of the V.F.W.
He is survived by his wife and best friend, Loretta (Kendralla) Lewkowicz; four siblings, Paula (late husband Talbot) Hiteshew; Robert (Doreen) Lewkowicz; Denise Lewkowicz; and Michael (Lynn) Lewkowicz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 4pm to 7pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where prayers will be offered on Wednesday at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
The Beaver County Special Unit will meet at the cemetery on Wednesday at 11am to conduct full military honors.
