Scott William Michael

Scott William Michael, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 3, 2018 in his home in Erie, PA.  He was born on June 6, 1958, the son of Genevieve Cole Michael and the late John Fleming Michael, and resided in Beaver County for most of his life.  He was a 1976 graduate of Hopewell High School.  He received his post graduate degree with honors from Geneva College and worked for many years in health care.  He recently taught part time in the Erie school system.

He was preceded in death by his father, John in 1990.  He is survived by his son, Andrew Richard Michael; his wife, Susan Kephart-Michael; his mother, Genevieve Michael; one sister, Donna J. Michael; four brothers, John (Gary); Charles; James; and Bradley.  He is also survived by one step-son; and one grandson; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, March 18, 2018 for a memorial gathering   from 1:00pm until the time of memorial service at 2:00pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa.  The eulogy will be presented by his son, Andrew.  Condolences may be expressed on-line at www.darrochfuneralhome.com
