Sam Toney, Jr., 83, of Baden, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.
He was born on January 17, 1937 in Aliquippa, a son of the late Sam and Margaret (Rocker) Toney. Sam retired from the steel industry where he worked as a millwright. He also served proudly served in the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, Sam was preceded in death by five brothers, Jack; Joe; Jim; Harry; and Tom Toney; and three sisters, Anieca DePasquale; Hesna Standish; and Besma Hartman.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Fleeson) Toney; a son, George Toney; two daughters, Michelle Stueber and her husband Otto; and Margie Olearchick and her husband Anthony; four grandchildren, George Toney; Nathan Stueber and his wife Tamara; Samantha Olearchick; and Nicole Toney; two great grandchildren; and a sister, Selma Spolarich. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Per Sam’s wishes, all services were private and Entombment took place at Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family has designated that any memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Beaver/Lawrence County to help continue the research and cure of Dementia and Alzheimer's.
Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes was entrusted with the arrangements.
