Ruth (Oster) Stryczek

Ruth (Oster) Stryczek of Hopewell Township passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at the age of 84.  Ruth was born on July 14, 1933 in Aliquippa a daughter of the late Charles J. and Wilda K. Oster.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter S. Stryczek; and two sisters, Arlene Goll and Shirley Corona.

Ruth was a devoted mother and grandmother.  She was a retired teacher from the Aliquippa School District.

Ruth is survived by her two children, Mark Stryczek and Lisa (Stryczek) Zierden, a son-in-law, Michael Zierden along with granddaughters, Anna and Audrey Zierden, and a brother, Charles E. (Bud) Oster.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, inc. 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where a funeral service will be conducted on Friday at 11am.

Private entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
