Ruth Miksch

Ruth Miksch, 76 of Monaca, PA., passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020.

She was born on June 29, 1943 in Sewickley, PA  a daughter of the late Harry and Elsie (Woods) Wintermantel. Ruth was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Miksch and her sister Elizabeth Strama. She is survived by three sons, Thomas, Robert and his wife Nicole, and Daniel and his wife Beverly, her pets Blackie (dog), Fidget (cat) , and Nika (cat)  and nine grandchildren, Kelsey, Téa, Adrianna, Emily, Reagan, Paden, Tucker, Natalie and Nathan as well as two nieces and two nephews.

She was blessed to work in the chocolate business for 30+ years at two of the best chocolate shops in the world; Alethea's Chocolates in Williamville NY and Chocolate Boutique in Center Township, PA. She was an avid Pirates, Francisco Cervelli and Steelers fan.
