Russel Vernon Boring, 71, of Baden, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
Born on May 25, 1953, in Rochester, PA, Russel was the oldest son of the late Russell S. Boring and Gertrude M. Piersol. Throughout his life, Russel brought dedication and a strong work ethic to his roles at Metropolitan Seafood, United Van Lines, and Taylor Dairy, where he eventually retired.
Russel was not only a hard worker but a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He has been reunited in Heaven with his special friend and former wife, Antoinette “Toni” Boring.
Left to honor his legacy are his children, Melissa Boring and her fiancé Antonio, and Rusty Boring, who carry forward his values of strength. Russel was a proud and doting grandfather to five wonderful
grandchildren: Jesse and his husband Zak, Alyssa, Jordan and his girlfriend Cassie, Trai, and Antonia. His joy multiplied with the arrival of his two precious great-granddaughters, Melanie and Anastasia, daughters of Jordan and Cassie, who brought an extra sparkle to his life.
Russel’s heart was as big as his family, which includes his five brothers, Terry and wife Debbie Boring, Gary and wife Mary Boring, David and wife Teresa Piersol, Danny and wife Leslyle Piersol, as well as Kevin and wife Shelly Boring; and two sisters, Cheryl and husband John Thomas as well as Susie and husband Tony Reyes. Also many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Russel’s life on Tuesday, January 28th, with visitation from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa, PA 15001 where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday at 11am.
