Richard "Dick" Waite

Richard “Dick” Waite, 90, of Bradford Woods, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

He was born on July 11, 1935 in Sewickley, PA a son of the late Virgil and Adele (Wintermantel) Waite.  Richard worked as a master carpenter for many years in custom woodworking.  He was life-time member of the Carpenters District Council, Local 1160.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Shirley (Schneider) Waite; a son, Brian Waite; two brothers, Virgil E. (Betty) Waite; and Donald Waite; a sister, Jeanette (Edward) Tocci; and a brother-in-law, Jim Earley.

He is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Kocuba and her husband Greg; a son, Richard S. Waite; five grandchildren, Lane; Staci; Scott; Olivia; and Kaitie (Logan); two great grandchildren, Ariana and Aiden; two sisters, Nancy (Roy) Gloyd; and Linda Earley; and a sister-in-law, Betty Jo Waite.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 12 noon in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com

Private interment will take place in Sewickley Cemetery.
