Peter A. Ayoob

Peter A. Ayoob, 98, a longtime resident of Aliquippa and recent resident of Franciscan Manor in Beaver Falls, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.

He was born on May 13, 1926 in Aliquippa, PA, a son of the late Thomas K. and Jamila “Jennie” (Saba) Ayoob. Peter served in the U. S. Army Air Force during WWII and he earned a Good Conduct Medal, World War II Victory Ribbon, and the Asiatic Pacific Theatre Ribbon. He retired from the Air Force, and later from Civil Service. He was a member of Mary, Queen of Saints Parish-St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jamila "Jennie" (Sarkis) Ayoob; seven brothers: James; Joseph; John; Herbert; Paul; Thomas; and an infant brother, Thomas, Jr.; and two sisters, Mary Namie and Sarah "Sadie" Ayoob; Margaret Elliott (niece); Thomas Ayoob (nephew); Rev. John Ayoob (nephew).

Peter is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives, including: George Namie, Michael Namie, and Barbara Namie; Robert Ayoob; Paul Ayoob, Jr.; David Ayoob; Diane Battles; Robert Houser and family; Steven Houser and family; Dora Houser Doby, Alexander Doby and family, Chantel Doby and family; Dr. Thomas Michael; Rich, Jeannette (Ayoob), and Michael Urban; and many more.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 3, 2024 at 10am in St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 115 Trinity Drive, Aliquippa, PA 15001

Entombment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome has been entrusted with the arrangements.
