Olive R. (Davidson) Kastler, 90, of Hopewell Twp., passed away peacefully on Monday September 7, 2020 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on February 23, 1930 in Independence Twp., a daughter of the late Sharp and Carrie (Neal) Davidson. She retired from the Aliquippa Animal Hospital where she worked as a receptionist for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Hopewell V.F.W. and she loved to bowl, play shuffle board, and horse shoes.
In addition to her parents, Olive was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Kastler; two sisters, Lila Bryson and Goldie Caler; a brother, Sharp Davidson, III; a nephew, Lester Caler; and a great niece, Leslie Lee Caler.
She is survived by a daughter, Jackie Zelechowski and her husband Steve; two grandsons, Steven (Amanda) Zelechowski, and Jonathan Zelechowski; a special great granddaughter, Fiona Zelechowski; nieces and nephews, Bob Bryson; John Bryson; Ronald “Buckwheat” Caler; Sharp Davidson, IV; Tracy Pierrati; Donna Calabria; Kelly Davidson; and Lorie Caler.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where a funeral service will be conducted on Friday at 11:00AM.
Private interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
