Olaf H. "Pete" Taylor, Jr.

Olaf H. “Pete” Taylor, Jr., 77, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.

He was born on February 8, 1945 in Kingwood, WV, a son of the late Olaf H. and Bertha (Deckenberger) Taylor.  Olaf worked as an equipment operator in the construction industry.  He also served in the U.S. Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Taylor.

He is survived by his siblings, Frank Taylor and his wife Marian; Carolyn Parrish; Marion Pershin and her husband Ed; Edward Taylor; Mark Taylor; Diana Taylor; and Douglas Taylor and his wife Melinda.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be conducted on Wednesday at 10:30am

Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.

The Beaver County Special Unit will meet at the cemetery on Wednesday at 11am to conduct full military honors.
