Norma Jane Molinaro

Norma Jane (Petronce) Molinaro, 91, of Hopewell Twp., passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 10, 2020 at UPMC Shadyside. She was born on March 22, 1928 in Aliquippa, PA to the late Giovanni Battisti Petronzi and America Petronzi-Colonna. She was a graduate of Hopewell High School and a member of the St. Titus Catholic Church and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers.

In addition to being a remarkable cook, she was an avid bowler and gardener and enjoyed puzzles. She will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who loved to entertain. No one who met Norma could forget her effervescent, gregarious, and hospitable personality.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Mathias, Beaver, PA; two sons, John Molinaro and his wife Carol, Coraopolis, PA and Anthony E. Molinaro, Jr and his wife Esther, Keller, TX; daughter-in-law, Mary Molinaro, Reisterstown, MD; 12 grandchildren - Aimee, Michelle, Lisa, Ann, Sarah, Daniel, Christie, Tera, Nicholas, Dimitri, Kylie, and Anthony III; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony E. Molinaro, Sr; sons, Joseph S. Molinaro and Paul W. Molinaro; and brother, Bernard Petronzi.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the wonderful care provided by the staff of St. Barnabas Beaver Meadows. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Titus Catholic Church; interment followed in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to: Mount St. Mary’s University, The Joseph S.
