Mildred F. Shetek

Mildred F. Shetek, age 101, a life-long resident of Aliquippa, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024.

She was born on August 25, 1922 in Aliquippa, a daughter of the late Sam and Tillie Briscoe.  She was an active member of Mary, Queen of Saints Parish-St. Titus Catholic Church and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers.  She was also a member of the Croation Auxiliary Lodge.  Over the years, she was an avid bowler.

In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Shetek in 1981; and her siblings, Helen Sichak; William Briscoe; Michael Briscoe; and Marie DeAngelis.  She was the last surviving member of her family.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mildred will be laid to rest in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
