Michael “Tim” Force,, 83, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026.
He was born on December 23, 1942 in Pittsburgh, PA, a son of the late Domenic and Ann (Lagnese) Force. Tim was a graduate of Robert Morris University and he served in the U.S. Army as a medic in the Vietnam War. He worked as a foreman in the Wire Mill at J&L Steel Corp. and he then served as a state auditor for the Pennsylvania School System before retiring. He was a member of Mary, Queen of Saints Parish-Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. He was also a member of the V.F.W. Post 8805 in Hopewell and the Aliquippa Elks Lodge 1221. Tim served for many years as a commissioner in Hopewell Township and he also served on the Hopewell Area School Board. He Enjoyed fishing, golfing, Steeler games, and Pitt games. He also enjoyed watching basketball games, and watching his grandchildren’s sports events.
He is survived by his wife, Carole J. (Salvati) Force; two daughters, Lisa Force; and Christine Hage and her husband Brian; Three grandchildren, Bella Hage; Anthony Hage; and Vincent Hage; a sister-in-law, Janet Conway; a nephew Bill Eckler and his wife Mel; and a niece, Melissa Eckler. Tim is also survived by a good family friend, Josh Stickles.
The family would like to thank the hospice at Canterbury Place for their comfort and compassionate care.

Entombment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.

The Beaver County Special Unit will meet at the funeral home on Friday at 1:15pm to conduct full military honors.
