Michael DeLouis Obituary

Michael John DeLouis, 54, of Independence Township, passed into the arms of Jesus peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 16th just before midnight.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Carol (Wickline) DeLouis, their 4 treasured children, Linsey (Jon), John (Shannon), Hannah (Travis), and Benjamin, along with his grandbabies who he loved so much, Danielle and Sophia. He is also survived by siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles and many family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lucette DeLouis, his brother, Ed, and many other loved ones who went home before him.

Michael proudly and honorably served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a hard worker who mastered his trade (HVAC) and started a business in his industry. He was a selfless provider, beloved husband, devoted father, and above all, a servant of Jesus. As of September 17, 2018 when he was born again, everything he did, he did to the glory of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

(One of Michael’s favorite Bible verses)
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the LORD, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for His appearance. 2 Timothy 4:7-8”

Although Michael will be terribly missed by his family while he’s not here, we have joy that he is home with the Lord and that we will see him again in eternity.

Viewing service to be held at Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc. on Tuesday, October 26th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Celebration of life service will be held the following day, Wednesday, October 27th, at Genesis Church (111 Cherryton Road, Aliquippa); friends and family to be received at 10:30am, with service beginning at 11am. Burial to immediately follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

In lieu of flowers, Michael would have wanted you to read the Bible or donate a Bible to someone in need.
