Mary Margaret Bonner

Early Sunday morning on February 11, Mary Margaret Bonner entered the gates of Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to be reunited with her husband, Kelly.

Mary was born on May 10, 1926, in Cumberland, Maryland.  She was the daughter of the late Jesse Reed Dicken and Mary Edith Robison.

Mary loved to go shopping, especially at Walmart.  She enjoyed buying clothes, purses, and shoes, so much so that her closets were overflowing.  She also enjoyed going to breakfast at Eat’n Park Restaurant, as her son-in-law pushed her to their table in her wheelchair.  Her other greater enjoyment was going to church at Hope Assembly of God in Hopewell Township.  She had been a founding member of the church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kelly, three sisters, and two brothers.

Surviving Mary are: her daughters Mary Louise Bonner, Hopewell Twp., Theresa Ann (George) Stead Hopewell Twp., a son Kelly (Mary) Bonner, Kennedy Twp., her cherished grandchildren Kelly Marie (Robert) Losey, SaraLyn (Christopher) Hughes, and Anthony (Amber) Bonner.  Mary was also blessed with great grandchildren: Skyler Kunselman, Lucas Neely, Also of Hopewell Twp., Zane Deutsche, Chase Losey, and Max and Megan Hughes.  Last year, Mary was blessed with a great-great grandchild Nikko Dante.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice and their nurses Andrea, Kim, Charlotte, and Peggy.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc. 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where  a funeral service will be conducted on Thursday at 10:30am with Rev. Janet Giles officiating.

Private interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
