Mark Lewis Hodnicki, 68, of Hopewell Twp., passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, October 8, 2021.
He was born on April 19, 1953 in Sewickley, PA a son of the late Walter and Kathryn (Kotynkiewiecz) Hodnicki. Mark retired after 36 years from the laborers’ union local 1058 where he paved many PA roads. He loved the Steelers, meeting with his friends at the Hopewell V.F.W. and he was very proud of the cars he owned throughout his life. He was also a very devoted and loving father and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley W. Hodnicki; and Edward “Brud” Hodnicki; and a niece, Mandy Hodnicki.
Mark is survived by two sons, Clinton Hodnicki and his wife Lori; and Justin Hodnicki; his former wife, Cheryl Hodnicki; four grandchildren, Lillian Hodnicki; Mitchell Hodnicki; Stella Hodnicki; and Jayden Hodnicki. He is also survived by three nieces, Jennifer; Heather; and Danielle; and nephew, Chris
All friends and family are invited to join in a celebration of life Sunday October 17th starting at 12:00 PM with a prayer service at 12:45 PM and Lunch to follow. Located at the Hopewell VFW 138 Stone Quarry Rd Aliquippa, PA 15001.
