Marjorie A. Meehan, 91, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.
She was born on October 22, 1931 in Sewickley, PA, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Filla) Neugebauer. Marjorie was a member of Mary, Queen of Saints Parish-Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She was a retired field representative for the U.S. Department of Commerce and she was a member of the Western Pennsylvania Train Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Meehan, Sr.; a son, Joseph Meehan, Jr.; a brother, Henry Neugebauer; and a son-in-law, Raymond Yurkowski.
Marjorie is survived by two sons, Peter Meehan and his wife Cynthia; and Daniel Meehan and his wife Lisa; two daughters, Monica Yurkowski and Mary Saussol; four grandchildren, Ian Parker and his wife Lesa; Daniel Meehan; Derek Meehan; and Kara Meehan; three great grandchildren, Clifton Parker; Weston Parker; and Leyton Parker; and a brother, Charles Neugebauer.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where prayers will be offered on Tuesday at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
Entombment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
