Louise DiNardo, 90, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023.
She was born on February 5, 1933 a daughter of the late John and Anne (Cashi) Koman. She was a faithful member of Mary, Queen of Saints Parish-St. Titus Catholic Church, serving in the Confraternity of Christian Mothers, events coordinator for the hall, and volunteer on the Appalachia mission trips. She was also a former May Queen. Louise retired from Suburban General Hospital in Bellevue where she had worked as a registered nurse. She was a devoted fan of her Pittsburgh sports teams.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony DiNardo; a brother, Bill Koman; a sister and brother-in-law, Dolores (John) Yurkovich; brother-and-sisters-in-law, Angelo (Jennie) DiNardo; Amelia (Gilbert) DiGiovine; and Mafalda (Joe) Belich; a niece, Patricia DiGiovine; and a great niece, Ashley Romanias.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, Michael (Kathie) DiNardo; Angelo (Penny) DiNardo; Robert (Lorraine) DiGiovine; Kathi Belich; Joe (Bonnie) Belich; Paula Yurkovich (Scott Robertson); Patti Yurkovich (Brett Berman); Jan (Scott) Irons; and John Yurkovich; many great nieces and great nephews, but especially beloved great nieces and great nephew, Kara and Michael, Jr. DiNardo; and Claudia and Riley Berman; a sister-in-law, Joan Koman; and her dear friend, Loretta Martella.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where prayers will be offered on Wednesday at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Titus Catholic Church.
Entombment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
