June Eyerly

June Eyerly, 88, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022.

She was born on June 9, 1933 in West Aliquippa, a daughter of the late Frederick Charles and Rose (Leskanic) Fink.  She was a member of Ohio U. P. Church.

Our mother was a very caring and kind person.  She wouldn’t give you the shirt off her back, she would just sew you a new shirt.  She would always help someone in need.  She was always busy doing crafts, quilting and stained glass. She wasn’t afraid of doing anything.  She always said “Don’t let your mind tell your hands what they can do”.  If you would meet her for the first time, you would walk away knowing you made a new friend.

In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Eyerly; two brothers, Frederick Charles Fink, and Richard James Fink; and two sisters, Jane Colonna, and Rose Cindrich; and two brother in-laws, Lawrence Colonna and Frank Cindrich.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas K. Eyerly, and Kenneth Eyerly and his wife Anna; two daughters, Rose Mary Boyer and her husband Rick, and Nancy Hartzfeld and her husband Bryan; three grandchildren, Amber (Matt) Merulli, Thomas (Marianne) Boyer, and Mark Hartzfeld; and six great grandchildren, Brayden, Kylee, Cameron, Austin, Matthew and Anderson.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where a funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11am.

Entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
