John F. Tharp, Jr.

John F. Tharp, Jr., 65, of Independence Twp., passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.

He was born on October 17, 1953 in Waynesburg, PA a son of the late John and Nellie (Wilson) Tharp.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph  Tharp; and Terry  Tharp.

He is survived by two daughters, Tina Wilson and her husband Terry; and Brenda Tharp; four grandchildren, Amanda Wilson; Kyle Schwarz; Gage Schwarz; and Emma Schwarz; two brothers, Timothy Tharp; and Paul Tharp; two sisters, Julie Swan and her husband David; Sheila Garcia and her husband Dean; a sister-in-law, Susan Tharp; and his four-legged furry companion, Honey.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Friday from 10am until the time of funeral service at 1pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc. 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com

Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
