John J. Bologna, 75, of Hopewell Twp., passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
He was born on January 22, 1950 in Sewickley, PA a son of the late Samuel and Elia Mary (Galzerano) Bologna. John was a member of Mary, Queen of Saints Parish – Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. He retired from J&L Steel where he worked as a welder for 18 years. He was a member of United Steelworkers Local 1211. His excessive car detailing and unique sense of humor will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. Bologna.
He is survived by a son, Timothy Bologna and his wife Andrea; a daughter, Rachael M. Obsenica and her husband Ryan; four grandchildren, his buddy, Andrew Obsenica; his Beebee, Averie Obsenica; Samuel Bologna; and Alex Bologna; two brothers, David R. Bologna; and Robert B. (Pam) Bologna; and his aunt, Dorothy Stoessner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and several cousins.
