Joan E. Ivanchan, 90 of Hopewell Twp., passed away peacefully on Monday, May 13 2024 in Cranberry Place after a valiant fight with various ailments.
Joan was born in Pittsburgh on April 5, 1934 the daughter of the late Albert McCue and Mary (Richardson) McCue. A graduate of St. Benedict Academy, she was a life-long member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish and active in the Christian Mothers. Joan was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed participating in the numerous social and sporting activities of her children and encouraged an enjoyment of learning and faith.
In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by a sister Elizabeth (McCue) Palbus and her devoted husband of 63 years John M. Ivanchan, Jr.
She is survived by her children, John Glen Ivanchan; Karen Ivanchan-Johnson and her husband David; Keith Ivanchan and his wife Leslie; Kirk Ivanchan and his wife Debra; and Lisa Morrison and her husband Roger, her grandchildren, Travis, Brad, Chelsey, Taylor, Alex, Erin, Lauren and Isabell; great grandchildren, Brody, Riley, Julia, Alexander, Penelope, Josephine, Layla and Charlie
Friends will be received on Saturday from 11am until the time of Blessing Service at 1pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com
Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
