God took home one of His Angels, Jacob Thomas Bogle, 27, of Monaca. He passed peacefully in his sleep. He was so loving that many wish that they had just five more minutes. He was blessed to be born on November 20th to very special parents, Joseph and Donna Bogle whose love for him knew no bounds. It was because of that blessing, that he was able to be a blessing to everyone that had the honor of having him touch their lives. The family is so very grateful for all the wonderful and special people that helped and worked with Jacob through his life starting from the time he was young and enrolled at Tiny Tots, then Stepping Stones, Economy Elementary/New Horizon, Central Valley School, and then Watson sponsored through Central Valley School District where he graduated from. Jacob did not forget all those people who worked with him and would from time to time mention their names. They were his Angels and now he is all of ours.
In his teenage years his artistic side became prevalent. He went to Muddy Rose Pottery in Hopewell where he learned and flourished with guidance under Janelle Farrand. He also loved to take pictures of people and even landscapes. Some of those pictures were so amazing they were framed and given as gifts. His musical talent began with piano when he was very young and continued through his life. BCRC entered his life where people, consisting of friends and family, would continue to work with him and help him to grow. He learned many things, but he did not stop there. As an adult, he entered the wonderful world of HAP, an adult program for people with special needs. They were amazing, taking him to so many places which he loved. He then qualified to work through a program where he assisted at the Chippewa United Methodist Church Community Life Center. He would help clean and set up and take down events. He was meticulous on whatever he set his mind on. Nothing passed him by, no spot, no crumb, he got it with the vacuum or broom. He leaves behind to the Center a vacuum with his name on it never to be forgotten. He worked for a short stint at Rochester Shop N Save. One time a woman came up to him while he was stocking shelves, understanding his situation, and asked where the buns were. He took her by the hand and walked her right where they were. He was caring. This was only one part of his life. Another major part of his life was his Church.
He attended The Church of Jesus Christ in Aliquippa where he loved to hear the hymns sung. Often the effect of those hymns would surface when he was on the bus going to school and he would be singing those hymns on his own. The bus drivers would often make comments to his parents about his precious singing. He would also help his dad, who is a Deacon, to set up events, close the building, take out the garbage or clean. He touched the hearts of everyone that came to Church. He was anointed every time we met, and the blessings abounded in his life. He knew everyone and would call out their names, and if he did not know you, he asked in his own special way. He loved to visit his Church family and drop off little gifts that he may have made or purchased. He was giving. One thing among many things that will be missed is when he said, “Squeeze please.” He wanted a hug.
Jacob had his own sounds he would make but when he wanted to communicate something, he used a few words but got his point across. Jacob knew and gave love.
He will now be able to see and talk with family that preceded him in death such as his Paternal Grandparents, Joseph Thomas and Joy Bogle and his Maternal Grandparents, Sela and Sarah Palmieri. Jacob is survived by his very loving sister and brother-in-law, Juliet and John (Bogle) McCutcheon. He is also survived by his loving Paternal Grandmother, Joan Bogle, Aunts and Uncles: Mary Lee and Brian DeMarco, Stephen and Linda Bogle, John and Ann Margaret Chapman, and David Bogle. In addition, Jacob is survived by his loving Maternal Aunts and Uncles: Barbara and David Andruccioli, Richard and Dolly Palmieri, and Mark and Rilla Palmieri. He also leaves behind numerous cousins who were very dear to him as well as his wonderful Church family and the many friends he made along the way. To say he will be greatly missed would be an understatement, but we know the great joy he now experiences in Paradise with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Visitation will be at Darroch Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa on Friday, June 19th from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, 5:00 pm-7:00 pm. Jacob’s celebration of life will be officiated by Elders David DeLuca and John Mark D’Antonio at The Church of Jesus Christ, 4 Ross Drive, Aliquippa on Saturday, June 20th starting at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations made in his name to The Church of Jesus Christ.
