Helen Dubaich

Helen Dubaich, 90, of Center Township, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 14, 2025.

She was born on July 5, 1935 in Monaca, a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Scviska) Olszanski.  Helen worked as a bank teller for many years.  She also worked at Bowsers Restaurant in Monaca.  She was a member of St. Elijah Serbian  Orthodox Church in Aliquippa, and she was also a member of the Polish Falcons of America.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Mike “Pal” Dubaich, a son Mitchell Dubaich; and all of her siblings, Joseph “Joe” (Helen) Olszanski; Charles Olszanski; Cashmere (Virginia) Olszanski; Walter (Marge) Olszanski; Gabriel (Blanche) Olszanski; Paul (Joan) Olszanski; Sophie (Gerry) Meidinger; and Antoinette (John) Fitzgerald.

She is survived by three children, Michael A. Dubaich and his wife Sam; Mary Jo Slater and her husband Daniel; and Michelle Schwartz and her husband Michael; six grandchildren, Lara; Kimberly; Christine; Nikki; Rob; and Helen; and nine great grandchildren, Cooper; Charlotte; Enrico; Danny; Lucas; Taylen; Emersyn; Roman; Dallas; Penelope; and Joelle.

A Chapel Service will be conducted on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 11:30am in the Serbian Orthodox Cemetery of Saint Elijah, Brodhead Road, Aliquippa with Reverend George Popovich officiating.
