Gerry (Hanshew) Domitrovich

Gerry Domitrovich, 94, of Aliquippa passed away peacefully on Monday, November 4, 2024.

She was born on December 23, 1929 in Beaver, PA a daughter of the late Glenn and Mary Magdalen (Kuhn) Hanshew.  Gerry was a devout member of Mary, Queen of Saints Parish-St. Titus Catholic Church where she was a member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers.  She was also a lector and a member of the kitchen crew for many years.  She loved to cook and spend time with her family.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Gerry was preceded in death by her husband, Walter “Butsy” Domitrovich; two sons, John (Barbara) Domitrovich and David Domitrovich; three daughters, Theresa; Celine; and Celeste Domitrovich.  She was also preceded in death by her siblings.

Gerry is survived by three sons, Walter Domitrovich, Jr. and his wife Susan; Francis Domitrovich and his wife Lorna; and Anthony Domitrovich and his wife Ginger; two daughters, Mary Ann Barlow and her husband Vincent; and Laura Hower and her husband Charles.  She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and her dog, Laddie.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where prayers will be offered on Friday at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Titus Catholic Church.

Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
