Gale A. Stephenson, Jr.

Gale A. Stephenson, Jr.,79, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022.

He was born on July 30, 1942 in Sewickley, a son of the late Gale and Emma Virginia Stephenson.  Gale was a member of Mary, Queen of Saints Catholic Parish, Our Lady of Fatima Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force,  He retired from Shenango, Inc. in Neville Island and he also worked for Allied Security in Moon Twp. 

In addition to his parents, Gale was preceded in death by his daughter Virginia “Ginny” Stephenson; a sister, Gerry Deichler; and a brother-in-law, Norman Ness.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Gianvito) Stephenson; a brother, Earl J. Stephenson and his wife Robin; a brother-in-law, Pete Deichler; a sister-in-law, Patty Ness; a brother-in-law, Joe Gianvito and his wife Anna; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held on Thursday at 2PM.

Interment will follow in Beaver Cemetery.
