Ermalinda "Linda" (Gonzalez) Friend

Ermalinda “Linda” (Gonzalez) Friend, 68, of Aliquippa, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023.

She was born on April 9, 1955 in Sewickley, PA a daughter of the late Joseph and Elvira (Montequin) Gonzalez.  Linda was a member of Mary, Queen of Saints Parish – St. Titus Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ransler F. “Randy” Friend; a sister, Jovita Gonzalez; and a sister-in-law, Debbie Gonzalez.

She is survived by a son, Shawn C. Friend and Heather Perkins; a daughter, Mandy L. Friend and Chris Collington; six grandchildren, Justin Tyler George (Charli); Brandon Joshua Friend; Kylie Mackenzie Friend; Nathanial Christopher Friend; Ayden Tristian Friend; and Randilyn Alivia Friend; five great grandchildren, Cameron George; Isabella Darcy; Penelope Darcy; Leighton Darcy; and Houston Helms; eight brothers and sisters, Trina Gonzalez; Maggie and Bob Swan; Maria and Rob Montini; Gloria and Rick Simmons; Joe Gonzalez; Monte Gonzalez; Marguerite Gonzalez; and Thaddeus and Marie Gonzalez.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 12pm until the time of funeral service at 1pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com

Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
