Elinor E. Tate, 87, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019.
She was born on January 24, 1931 in Hopewell Twp., a daughter of the late William Joseph and Virginia Morrow. Elinor was a previous member of North Branch Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Ladies Social Circle and she was a volunteer for Adult Literacy.
In addition to her parents, Elinor was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, William J. Tate; a sister and brother-in-law, Marion and Donald Cook; and her son-in-law, Edward Fiejdasz.
She is survived by her son, John E. Tate and his wife Jeri; and her daughter, Jenette Fiejdasz. Also surviving are four grandchildren and their spouses; Edward (Linda) Fiejdasz; Tara (Bill) Lawrence; Heidi (Mark) Scholar; and Rob (Heather) Decker; eleven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Saturday from 11am until the time of Funeral Service at 1pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc. 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com
Private interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
