Elinor J. Farber, 98, of Hopewell Twp., passed away peacefully on Friday, November 26, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on November 29, 1922 in Aliquippa, a daughter of the late Edward and Edna (Avery) Jordan. She was a member of Raccoon United Presbyterian Church. She worked as a punch key operator at J&L Steel and as a crossing guard in Hopewell.
In addition to her parents, Elinor was preceded in death by her husband, Ellsworth Farber; and two brothers, Eugene Jordan; and Earl Jordan.
She is survived by a son, Earl Farber and his wife Pat; a daughter, Kim DiCicco and her husband Mark; four grandchildren, Mark (Cassie) DiCicco, Jr.; Ryan Anthony (Jamie) DiCicco; Travis Earl (Meg) Farber; and Jody Renee Farber; and a great grandchild, Carter Ryan DiCicco. Aunt Lala was cherished and loved by her nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 3pm -7pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 11am.
Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
