Edward E. Welling, Jr.

Edward E. Welling, Jr., 78, of New Sewickley Twp., passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021.

He was born on October 26, 1942 in Ambridge, a son of Martha and the late Edward Welling.  Edward retired as a welder and then started a new path as a school bus driver.  He was a member of the Beaver Valley Rifle and Pistol Club, he was an avid musician and he was a member of the Antique Tractor Club.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amanda Twigg.

In addition to his mother, Edward is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Dorothy Welling; a daughter, Angela Marelli; a son, Michael Marelli and his wife Carolyn; three grandchildren, Lauren Marelli; Tracy (Tim) Kiser; and D.J. Doughty; five great grandchildren, Zander Kiser; Ava Kiser; Cody Kiser; Davantae Doughty; and Ashari Doughty; two brothers, John and Glenn Welling; and a sister, Pam Welling.
