Edward J. Vass "Uncle Ed"

Edward J. Vass, 82, of Hopewell Twp., passed away peacefully at home on Thursday February 14, 2019 surrounded by family.  He was born on July 6, 1936 in Aliquippa, PA a son of the late Paul Sr. and Lillian (Bucholtz) Vass. He is retired from LTV Steel and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline (Campbell) Vass and a brother Paul Vass.

Edward is survived by his two children Victoria (Vass) Karabasz and her significant other Richard Atkins and Mark Vass; grandchildren Lauren Cieply and her husband Chris, Richard E. Karabasz,  Allie Karabasz and Matt Hester; great grandchildren Chase, Easton, and Ryder; brother Bill and his wife Gloria Vass;  brother and sister in laws of Ronnie and Theresa Campbell, Tom and Charolette Costo, and Wanda and Bob Wilson. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
