Christopher Lee Barnett

Christopher Lee Barnett, 39, of Aliquippa, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 after courageously battling a long-term illness.

He was born on December 30, 1981 in Long Beach, CA, a son of Forrest and Roxann (Curiel) Barnett.  Christopher loved animals, especially cats.  He was passionate about rescue cats. He also loved the outdoors and achieved Eagle Scout.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Everett and Agnes Barnett; his maternal grandparents, Rudy and Dorothy Curiel; and an aunt, Sharon Hernandez.

In addition to his parents, Christopher is survived by his wife, Sara Arlene Koenig; sister, Jacqueline (Rob) Hamano; nephews, Liam and Gavin Hamano; aunts and uncles, Pam and Tony Martinez; Renee and Rusty Hensley; Rudy and Terri Curiel; Darrell and Debbie Barnett; and Ed Hernandez.  He is also survived by cousins, Crystal; Heather; Brett; Richard; Jordan; Lauren; and Eric.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
