Cheryl Mae Szedny

Cheryl Mae Szedny of Beaver Falls PA went home to be with the Lord on May 29, 2022.  Cheryl was born on July 18, 1944 and was 77 years old. Cheryl was a devote Catholic. Cheryl spent the majority of her career caring for special needs adults and children, which she enjoyed tremendously.  Cheryl was a dedicated board member of the Beaver County Housing Authority since 2001. Cheryl was the loving daughter of the late Walter and Alice Szedny and was proceed in death by her sister Barbara Fetkovich and her daughter Janice. Serving are her cherish Thomas Ferrand (Beaver), Timothy Ferrand (Tracy) (Allison Park), Cynthia Ferrand Felton (Fred) (Bowling Green, KY) Candace George (Wes) (Texas) and Cheryl Barbara Ferrand (Ben) Patterson Twp. Cheryl is survived by her beautiful and loving grandchildren Tim Ferrand (Kim) (Pittsburgh), Cody Ferrand (North Carolina), Elanie Ferrand and Zoe Ferrand (West Mayfield) and her two adorable great grandchildren Noah and Daisy who she loved dearly. Cheryl is also survived by her Linda Mazzocca (Aliquippa), Walter Szedny (Elvy) (Aliquippa), Darlene Harold (North Carolina), Beverly Pietrandrea (Phil) (Brighton Twp.) and her special nephew Adam P.  Aunt Cheryl will be missed dearly by serval nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Viewing will be held at Darroch Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 5:00PM - 8:00PM.

Departing prayers will begin at 9:30 am on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Darroch Funeral Home followed by Funeral Divine Liturgy at 10:00 am at St. George Byzantine Catholic Church.
