With heavy hearts we share with you the passing of Charles “Bud” Sarvey on Thursday, February 2, 2023.
He was born on March 21, 1932 in South Heights, PA, a son of the late Daisy and Frank Sarvey. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army 101st Airbourne Division “Screamin Eagles” combat engineers during the Korean War. He retired from J&L Steel where he worked as a motor inspector. He enjoyed numerous Arizona trips with his wife, war movies, and spending time hunting.
Bud was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Katie Sarvey; and a son-in-law, Jim Cheuvront.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Barbara Sarvey; two sons, James Sarvey and Greg Sarvey and his wife Cheryl; a daughter, Jane Cheuvront; 5 grandchildren, Melissa (Mark)Dejane; Derenda Sarvey; Stephanie (Dustin) Martin; Tiffanie (Brad Lowery) Sarvey; and Hannah Cheuvront; 3 great grandchildren, David Sarvey; Cassie Sarvey; and Lincoln Mason; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Best known for having anything you could possibly need, being in his garage, under the vice in the second drawer on the right. This Big Gump will be dearly missed by ALL.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 3pm to 7pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10am. The Beaver County Special Unit will meet at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:30am to conduct full military honors.
Interment will follow in John Anderson Memorial Cemetery.
