Barbara Lynn (Nash) Stickles

Barbara L. (Nash) Stickles, 67 of Hopewell Twp., passed away peacefully on Saturday January 13, 2024.

She was born on August 5, 1956, in Sewickley, Pa., a daughter of the late Harold George and Mary (Masterani) Nash.

Barb was a caretaker. She was a nurse and proud of it. Her career spanned private duty nursing, working at Masonic with the elderly (who she dearly loved) to working at Heritage Valley Sewickley until her illness took over. She was an avid puzzler as well as an animal lover. Her 3 dogs were always at her side. Her kindness always showing through.

She is survived by her loving husband Ivan Stickles; two sons Michael (Sheila) and Joshua Stickles; a daughter Heather (Matt) Stickles; five sisters Mary Carolyn Nash, Margaret Battles, Joanne Clemmons, Sally Nelson, and Judy Haluka; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday at 2pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tribute Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa, www.darrochfuneralhome.com.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
