Arnold D. Jones, Sr.

Arnold D. Jones, Sr., 75, of Moon Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 22, 2025.

He was born on February 12, 1950 in Independence Township, a son of the late Walter Thomas and Martha (Baker) Jones.  Arnold was a member of The Bible Chapel in Robinson. He proudly served in the United States Air Force.  He cherished beach vacations and had a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors.  Above all, he treasured spending quality time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Arnold was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Dolores “Dee” Jones; two brothers, Richard “Pete” (Lynda) Jones; and David Jones; and a sister, Patricia (George) Bland.

He is survived by two sons, Arnie (Amy) Jones; and Doug (Conni Glombitza) Jones; three grandchildren, Andrew, Devan, and Elizabeth Jones; and a sister-in-law, Diana Jones.  He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 10am,

Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
