Alma Marie Sill

Alma Marie Sill, 81, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 in Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver.

She was born on March 6, 1936 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Stephen and Emma (Sill) Fityere.  Alma was a volunteer for Meals-on-Wheels, and she was Past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star, Brilliant Star Chapter.

She is survived by a son, Eric Van Maldeghem; two daughters, Jacqueline Luther and her husband Raymond; and Linda Schmidt and her husband Don; three grandchildren, John (Carrie) Hutton; Bryan (Nicole) Luther; and Jesse (Brianne) Luther; and five great grandchildren, Katelyn Luther; Jacob Hutton; Haley Luther; Emma Luther; and Harper Luther.

Per Alma’s request, there will be no public visitation and a Celebration of Her Life will take place at a later date.
