Michael G. Darroch, 70, of Center Twp., passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018.
He was born on November 15, 1947 in Silver Spring, MD. , a son of the late James J. and Margaret (DePue) Darroch. Michael was the owner of Darroch Funeral Home and Darroch Monument Company until his retirement in 1996. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church as well as the church choir. He was one of the founders of CASA Beaver County which was a court appointed special advocate which represents the best interest of children. Throughout his life, Michael was involved in many community activities and charities. Michael loved to sing and dance, he was a loyal friend and had a generous heart. He was one of a kind.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mia Daffan; and his brother, James J. Darroch, Jr.
Michael is survived by his wife, Kathryn S. (Good) Darroch; three daughters and eight grandchildren, Megan Daffan and her husband Nick and their children, Nicholas; Kiki; Rocco; and Delilah; Heather Altmar and her husband Cameron, and their son Patrick; and Brigid Robertson and her husband Randy and their children Kate; Johnny; and Randy; a brother, Robert Darroch and his wife Rosemary; two sisters, Melissa Schafer and her husband Nick Manzella; and Dianne Kube and her husband Robert; two sisters-in-law, Debra Ambrose and her husband David; and Debbie Good. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Kathy would like to thank the generous caring friends for their unwavering support throughout his illness. They were available 24/7 – sisters, Debby Ambrose, Melissa Schafer; long-time friends, Sarah and Dominic DeLuigi, Bob and Dana Castagna, Paula and Bob Brobeck, Louise Hall, and Monica Sturm; and special nieces, Krissy Good, and Tatum Kapaldo.

Private interment will take place in John Anderson Memorial Cemetery.

A Parish Vigil Service will be conducted on Friday at 2:45pm in the funeral home.
