Margaret B. Darroch

Margaret B. Darroch, 94, of Center Twp., passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017.

She was born on April 12, 1922 in Silver Spring, MD, a daughter of the late Hervey and Helen (Bland) DePue and she was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.  Margaret worked along side her family in the Darroch Funeral Home for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Darroch; and a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Evelyn DePue.

Margaret is survived by three sons and their spouses, James J. Jr. and Patricia Jane Darroch, Glen Burnie, MD; Michael G. and Kathryn S. Darroch; and Robert B. and Rosemary Darroch, all of Center Twp.; Two daughters and their spouses, Dianne M. and Robert M. Kube, Bethesda, MD; and Melissa M. Schafer and Nick Manzella, Center Twp.; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 2 great- great grandchildren. 

Friends will be received on Monday from 4pm to 8pm in the Darroch Memorial Chapel, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where prayers will be offered on Tuesday at 10:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.

Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.

The St. Frances Cabrini Parish will conduct a Wake Service on Monday at 3:45pm in the funeral home.
