Thomas Rupik

While in the presence of his loving family Tom Rupik was welcomed in to the loving arms of Jesus on January 8th, 2023.  He was born August 12th, 1948 son of Wasil and Veronica (Ihnat) Rupik

He was a Professional Licensed Mechanical Engineer by trade working for several engineering firms during his 51 year career.  Tom was also a lay pastor in the United Presbyterian Church, an ordained elder, and deacon, youth sponsor and Sunday School teacher.  He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church.

Surviving to celebrate his life are his beloved wife of 55 years, (Mary) Jill (Strouss) Rupik, 3 devoted children, Nancy Tournay, Hopewell Township, Scott Rupik, Cranberry Township and Timothy (Breann) Rupik, Aliquippa, 5 cherished grandsons, Teddy, Tyler and Troy Pajak and Andrew and Sam Rupik, 2 sisters Rachel Sabatini, Hopewell Township, Becky (Joe) Behan, Huntersville, North Carolina, 2 sisters in law Marianne Rupik, Center Township, and Betty Sue Lefkowitz Warren, Ohio and numerous nephews and nieces.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 sons in law, Bob Tournay and Ted Pajak, a brother David Rupik and Brother in law Dennis Sabatini.

Friends will be received at Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com on Thursday from 5pm to 7pm.  Additional visitation will take place on Friday from 5:30pm until the time of memorial service celebrating his life at 6:30pm at Mt. Pleasant Church officiated by Rev. Dr. Richard Herbster.

The family is requesting no flowers per Tom’s wishes.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or Mt. Pleasant Church.
