Mary Ann (Poore) Gress

Mary Ann (Poore) Gress, 70, of Baden, formerly of Hopewell Twp., passed away peacefully on Monday, November 28, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on October 4, 1952. Daughter of the late Harvey E. and Anita (Cercone) Poore. Mary Ann was a graduate of Hopewell High School.   She was a visiting nurse for Heritage Valley Health System and a scheduler for UPMC.  She enjoyed reading, pets, caring for others and family gatherings.

In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Poore.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, John Gress; a son, John H. Gress and his wife Jennifer; a brother, Raymond Poore; a sister-in-law, Susan Poore; three additional sisters-in-law, Janice (John) Hredzak; Debra (Albert) Dinello; and Carol (Tom) Speich.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where prayers will be offered on Saturday at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Mary, Queen of Saints Parish, Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church at 10am.

Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
