Billie L Harris

Billie L. Harris, 87, of Aliquippa, Pa., for the past sixty five years, was called home to her Lord and Savior on January 21, 2021 in the comfort of her home.

Born on April 25, 1933 in French Creek, W.Va. to the late Willis T. and Dorothy Rose Buchanan.

She was a devoted wife and homemaker of 67 years; Member of the Christ Alliance Church; A faithful and loving example to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her two children; Susan (Sambol) & Randall Harris; Her husband, David Russell Harris, only months prior. While it is difficult to lose both parents, their children and grandchildren find comfort in their story of true romance, that even death could not part.

She is survived by her two daughters; Angie (Donnie) Caplinger of Monaca, Pa., and Amy (Anthony) Falcon of Pittsburgh, Pa., three grandchildren; Danielle Caplinger of Monaca, Pa., Derek Caplinger of Rochester, Pa., and Winter Falcon of Pittsburgh, Pa., two great grandchildren; Madisyn Michelle and Leland Russell Harris Caplinger.

Due to the current covid 19 health concerns, there will be an intimate visitation on Tuesday, January 26th from 11am-1pm with funeral service to follow at 1pm. Family and friends will meet at Darroch Cremation & Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com Internment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. Masks are required and social distancing must be practiced. Please note the family has also opted not to hold a reception and ask for your understanding during these challenging times.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude in her honor.
