Belinda “Belle” M. Washburne (Bologna), born August 1, 1927 in Aliquippa, a daughter of the late Angela (Fattore) and John Bologna was a resident of Center Twp and was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. She retired from F.W. Woolworth, Beaver Valley Mall where she worked as a desk clerk. She graduated from Aliquippa High School, class of 1946, January. She was a member of Aliquippa Croatian Club Lodge 720, she belonged to the 50 plus group of St Frances Cabrini and the nifty 50 club at Our Lady of Fatima where she loved to play cards. She loved reading and playing slots at casinos.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald R. Washburne with whom she shared 44 years of marriage; three sisters, Ida Bologna; Domenica and Steve Kossert; and Susan and Charles Idzojtic; and a brother, Samuel J. and Madeline Bologna.
She leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give thanks to her special friends, Adam and Mary Ellen Horniak; Beverly Pilotti; Melanie Johns; Lorie Fuderich; Jimmy and Denise Ross; Patrick Callaghan; Dale and Diane McBane; Violet and Joe Murphy; and Nancy Sapariti.
Per Belle’s wishes, there will be no viewing and she will be laid to rest privately with her husband in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
