Clinton “Kinsey” George, 91, of Raccoon Twp., passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024.
He was born on December 12, 1932 in Brighton Twp., PA a son of the late Thomas and Athia (Lutton) George. Kinsey was retired from both St. Joe Zinc and Penn Power. He also was the owner of the Corner Scoop in Raccoon Twp. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and he was a member of the Glasgow Masonic Lodge # 485.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Karen George; and three sons-in-law, Ron Shalvis; Byron “Buster” Hall and Lloyd “Butch” Goff. He was also preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Triance) George; two sons, Thomas and Daniel George; two daughters, Peggy Ann Shalvis and Brenda Goff (Bradley Powell); five grandchildren, Janette (Randy); Denise; Brent (Jody); Bree (Shawn); and Kristin; eleven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 4pm to 7pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11am.
Private interment will follow in John Anderson Memorial Cemetery.
The Beaver County Special Unit will meet at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11am to conduct full military honors.
