Winona M. Williams

Winona M. Williams, 88, of Independence Twp., passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017.

She was born on October 14, 1928 in Glen Morgan, WV, a daughter of the late Okey and Eula (Hall) Walker.  Winona was a member of New Brighton Christian Assembly Church.  She was a long time member and president of the board of Trinity Choir.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Williams; and a brother, Dane Walker.

She is survived by two daughters, Diana Martin and her husband Lawrence, Independence Twp.; and Wina Nevling, Statesville, NC; and a grandson, Ryan Douglas Martin.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 2pm to 5pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com

Additional visitation will be Monday from 10am until the time of funeral service at 11am in New Brighton Christian Assembly Church with Pastor Samuel DeMarco officiating, 1810 Valley Avenue, New Brighton, PA 15066.

Private interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
